Eight years of blogging, a website built a few lines at a time, and what I want to share here next.
So, what is this website?
In some ways, it's a fresh start. In others, it's a continuation of something I've been doing for nearly eight years.
Where it began
When I was a student, I put together a WordPress blog and uploaded it to my own hosting. It gave me a place to write guides, share what I was learning, and help people work through problems I'd already encountered.
Over the years, those guides received hundreds of thousands of visits. They may have helped tens of thousands of people along the way. It's a strange and lovely thought: something I wrote as a student could make someone's day a little easier, long after I'd published it.
That experience is a big part of why I still want to write. Solving a problem is satisfying. Writing it down so someone else can solve it too gives that work a life beyond your own screen.
A website of my own
This version of the site has been on my mind for a long time. I've worked on it in my spare time, a few lines at a time: trying an idea, researching something unfamiliar, changing a detail, then coming back to it later.
Little by little, it became the place you're reading now.
I wanted a website that feels like me, with room for both the work I do and the life around it. A place I can keep shaping as my interests change.
What I'll share here
There will still be software. I want to write about the challenges I encounter, how I work through them, and what I learn in the process. The useful details often live between the first attempt and the solution that finally works, and I'd like to make room for those too.
But I'd also like to share more of everyday life: memories, small discoveries, things I've enjoyed, and thoughts I want to return to. Some posts might be detailed technical guides. Others might be a photograph and a few paragraphs about the moment behind it.
I don't have a fixed publishing schedule. My plan is to write when I have something worth sharing, and let this place grow over time.
