Frontend Developer · Web applications, maps, and reusable interfaces.
Building interfaces for complex systems
I'm a Frontend Developer focused on web applications where interface design and engineering need to work together: geospatial tools, defence industry software, data-driven applications, and reusable UI systems.
My work extends from architecture and UI planning to implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance. I care about making complex workflows clear for the people using them, while keeping the codebase structured and maintainable for the team building it.
Experience
My professional experience began with internships at Havelsan Teknoloji Radar and Cybersoft, where I worked with camera streaming, interactive maps, API design, and backend development.
Since 2021, I've worked as a JavaScript Developer at Ekinoks Software, contributing to defence industry applications, geospatial analysis tools, and internal platforms. My experience includes modernizing legacy interfaces, including migrating C# Silverlight applications to Angular, and building shared component libraries and frontend packages.
Technical focus
I work across React, Next.js, Angular, and Vue, with Redux and Zustand for state management. I build reusable frontend packages with Vite, Rollup, and Webpack, and develop interfaces using Tailwind CSS, SCSS, and established component libraries.
Geospatial interfaces are a substantial part of my experience. I've worked with Cesium, ArcGIS, Leaflet, Resium, and GeoServer to build interactive maps, terrain visualizations, and tools for working with spatial data.
Beyond the frontend, I work with Node.js and Spring, API integrations, MongoDB and PostgreSQL, Dockerized deployments, and load-balanced environments. Understanding those systems helps me make better decisions at the interface layer.
Engineering approach
I value clear architecture, deliberate UI decisions, and code that other developers can understand and extend. I use diagrams, design tools, and technical documentation to make decisions explicit, and unit, UI, and integration tests with Vitest, Jest, and Playwright to verify behavior.
In Agile/Scrum teams, I contribute to planning, code review, and delivery. I stay involved beyond implementation, through deployment and maintenance, because the quality of an interface depends on how it behaves in use and how well it supports future changes.
My current focus is large-scale web applications and deepening my backend expertise.
